Injury Fund

Welcome to the Injury Fund section of the Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football Association website.

The Injury Fund is not an Insurance Scheme it is an Injury Fund that is administered by the Ladies Gaelic Football Association in Croke Park.

Rosemary Coyle is the Injury Fund administrator.

The injury fund provides cover for injuries sustained in the following:

(a) an official competitive or challenge game

(b) an official and supervised training session

Premliminary Claim Forms (see download below) must be submitted within 8 weeks of the date of injury and all sections of the form must be fully completed.

PRIVATE TREATMENT:

All stages of private treatment MUST get PRIOR approcal. In order to obatin approval the following is required:

(1) a medical letter of referral + (2) a letter from the player requesting permission for PRIOR approval from Rosemary Coyle, Ladies Gaelic Football Association, Croke Park, Dublin 3.

PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE:

Players must claim from their own private health cover and the shortfall may be recovered from the Injury Fund.

Full Claim Forms (see download below) is submitted when treatment is completed. ONLY original receipts will be accepted for payment. The form must be fully completed and submittee via the Dublin County Administrator or County Secretary, Eugene Egan.
