Bord Gais Energy NFL preview of this weekends fixtures 2012-02-17 12:07:00

Bord Gáis Energy Ladies NFL Round 3 - Sunday 19th February 2012.

Division 1

Tyrone v Kildare, Healy Park, Omagh, 2.00pm (T McShea)

Both teams will be desperately looking to collect three points from this fixture as neither have recorded a win as of yet. Tyrone will be strengthened by the return of full back Maura Kelly but they are still operating without some of their key players due to injury. Kildare have conceded 9 goals in the opening two matches. They will be hoping to reduce that average this week.

Monaghan v Meath, Tyholland, 2.00pm, (T McSorley)

Monaghan enter this tie as favourites however to discount Meath would be premature. Reports from their Round 2 match with the Dubs revealed a very close encounter and a Meath side that are determined to move up the pecking order. Monaghan forwards will need to be on form to break down the Meath defence led by Jenny Rispin and Irene Munnelly.

Dublin v Cork, Ballyboden, St Enda's, 2.00pm (D McEnery)

Two teams on full point come head to head. Cork have scored 7 goals so far in the competition, Dublin will have to counteract the on form Nollaig Cleary and Rhona Ni Bhuchalla. With the history between these two sides, there is more at stake on Sunday than 3 points.

Laois v Donegal, Sarsfield, Mountmellick, 2.00pm (M Doherty)

Both sides have recorded 1 win and 1 loss to date so Sunday's match will be an important fixture to ensure they hold Division 1 status.  The big question for the Donegal management will be who will curb the influence of 3 time All Star Tracy Lawlor.

Division 2

Kerry v Cavan, Finuge, 12.00pm, (R O'Connor)

Clare v Galway, Doonbeg, 2.00pm, (MJ O'Keeffe)

Waterford v Mayo, Kilmacthomas, 2.00pm, (J Flood)

Tipperary v Fermanagh, JF Brackens, Templemore, (PJ Rabbitte)

Division 3

Roscommon v Sligo, Boyle, 2.00pm, (M Kenny)

Armagh v Leitrim, Morgan Athletic Gds, 2.00pm, (G McCrystal)

Wicklow v Down, Blessington, 2.00pm, (D McKittrick)

Westmeath v Wexford, Rochfortbridge, 3.00pm, (Y Duffy)

Division 4

Offaly v Antrim, Clonbullogue, Edenderry, 2.00pm, (J Mullins)

Louth v Carlow, Termonfeckin, 2.00pm, (K McKeever)

Limerick v Longford, UL Grounds, 2.00pm, (G Guinan
